I’m auctioning off this Aether Vial that I won a game of Flip It or Rip It with. The proceeds from the auction are going to Play It Forward, a nonprofit organization that helps female and nonbinary players complete and incentivizes more non-male players to join the game by offering special prizes for top finishing players at competitive events.
I’m doing this, with a Flip It or Rip It-ed card in the wake of Christine Sprankle being forced out off the MTG community by bullies and harassers on social media over the past year. From what I’ve gathered, the justification for this was that Christine played Flip It or Rip It and was attacked afterwards, hence my choice for the item to be auctioned.
