1. He never actually harassed her, nor told his followers to harass her. The worst he did was some harsh truth to her while making fun of the people kissing up to her.
2. He is currently the victim of a MAJOR movement against him for something he never did. He never harassed her, TCC, or Wedge (at least using all the “evidence” given in the TCC video).
Yes, he’s an edgy dick. No, he did not harass Sprankle, but the worst of his fans did, same as the worst of her fans are doing to him right now.
I’ve been thinking for a bit about how to respond to this. Were you someone uninvolved in the whole incident who drank Jeremy’s kool-aid and felt sympathetic? Possibly. Then I reread your post and saw “the worst he did was some harsh truth”. Buddy, if you watched that video and saw anything but a misogynistic hit-piece, you’re too far gone to reason with. Those weren’t harsh truths. It was mudslinging and a dogwhistle for his followers to direct themselves toward her inbox.
When you cultivate your following around how much you hate other people and how much of an edgy dick you are, you attract other hateful people and edgy dicks (AKA the exact kind of people who would harass someone for months after you make an attack video about that person) and you are responsible for the outcome.
I have no sympathy for Jeremy. He’s reaping what he’s sown. I have no sympathy for you. You didn’t need to be lied to by Magic’s loudest demagogue to defend his actions. Judging by this comment, you were the exact kind of person who would be drawn to his side in the first place.
