The person speaking is now a freelancer & writes scripts for them now.

There’s a lot to unpack from this video about the creation process about his theories. Basically, MatPat reached out to a bunch of smaller YouTubers to write scripts for him, for the price of Exposure. The guy in this video wrote an extremely hefty Gravity Falls script in response, and he didn’t reply until this video was made.

I’ve criticized plenty of MatPat’s videos for either being completely unoriginal (like his Petscop and Half Life videos) or being originally ridiculous (Sans is Ness). The fact that he just, asks people to make stuff for him for the purpose of narrating it, and passes stuff off as his own thoughts that he came up with…. it’s disgusting. There isn’t even a footnote in the descriptions about the scripts being made by other people.

The only way that MatPat paying you in exposure without the exposure to write his script without a guarantee that he’ll even read it is if you intentionally give him a Sans is Ness level script and he reads it out and gets ridiculed and No One Knows It Was You All Along.

This video only has 400K views, and regardless of this person’s opinion on Game Theory now, I think it should be known that MatPat is the most ingenuine person on the face of the Earth.
