It’s okay if you fuck up pronouns every once in a while. It’s okay if you take time to learn their preferred name. That shit isn’t easy to switch overnight.
It is NOT okay if you don’t try. If you give up, simply because it’s too hard, you are not a good friend. If they politely correct you, DO NOT blow up in their face! They just want the love and respect they give you.
