Not accurate at all

In MCU, the rest of the world had no idea Wakanda was sitting on a huge mountain of vibranium; they thought it was the rarest metal on earth and that was all the US government could scrap up. It’s not even full vibranium in some versions

Bc let’s be real, if the US government knew about Wakanda’s vibranium, they would’ve tried to invade and seize it. Bc unfortunately that is the US

But leave Cap out of it on this one

Cap reflects the best aspects of America, rather than the worst. He’s not a personification of our actual attitudes and values – He’s an ideal for us to strive towards.

People say he should be racist, sexist and homophobic because he’s from the Fifties? He’s not. He served with people from all walks of life.

People say he should be overbearing towards women? He’s very respectful.

People say he should be violent, aggressive and over-reliant on lethal force? He’s not. He doesn’t want to hurt anyone. He just hates seeing people get bullied, used and dehumanized.

People say he took the shield from its rightful owner? Obviously the exact details vary from one timeline to another, but more often than not, it was given to him as a gesture of friendship.

Cap’s important, maybe today more than ever, because he demonstrates how much better we could be. That corruption, bigotry and evil are not inherent to human nature, but that they’re just obstacles that we are capable of defeating.
