While my player’s battled with Heidrick, the rest of their friends were busy fighting their way through his forces. This included his General, the black dragon Favel Accrosein (left), and his messenger pigeon, the blue dragon Ielfrieda Vellogash (right).
My player’s friends fought fiercely, several of them almost being lost to the sea of dragonborn soldiers. Carrion himself was shot with arrows from head to toe during the battle with Favel.
Once my player’s presented the soldiers with Heidrick’s fangs, the tide turned and the remaining dragonborn folded under the pressure 😀 This gave Carrion the opportunity to bring the black dragon to the ground, further pushing back the opposing army >:)
The blue dragon fell to the parties friends not long after, being caught by Lucian and his sister Evelyn in the mountains north of the battle >:)
Once the fighting was done, any prisoners were brought with Carrion and the party to the capital of Ragafel, where the populace was left unguarded. Carrion, at the behest of Silas, began peaceful talks to integrate the citizens and the country into her own empire; rather than simply slaughtering them all as is Carrion’s MO.
The 2 leading dragons, Favel and Ielfrieda, were also captured and brought to face trial in the capital. Ielfrieda in particular proving herself a massive coward.
