Going back to complaining about WotC again, because I have nothing better to do right now, I think that an excellent indicator of how out of touch the people making the big decisions are with their players is that Unstable and Dominaria were considered huge risks despite constant demand, and the second and third Masters sets in a one year period that nobody asked for were expected to do great. It’s the same problem that Hollywood and Triple-A games have constantly and it’s why those industries have become creatively bankrupt.
