tips to help out artists!!

• reblog! you don’t need to reblog to your main blog, you can make a sideblog just for art reblogs! if you want you can post fanart even if you’re not in the fandom!
• follow #My Art! it’s a really great way to find all kinds of new artists!!
• leave a nice comment! message them! send an ask! off anon is better! it’s pure f u e l for creative people!
• commission them or support them on whatever website they use if you can! reblogging their commission info posts also helps a lot!
• DRAW THEIR OC’S oh my goodness, it would make their whole week

• DONT REPOST WITHOUT PERMISSION!! Most artists are very generous about letting people use their artwork for icons and backgrounds etc, you just have to ask. But you HAVE TO ASK. Don’t just do it and assume it’ll be okay.
• Talk in your tags! I can personally attest that artists love seeing people freakout in their reblog tags!!
• Buy merch if you have the muns to spare! Share store links if you don’t! Same goes for patreons, kofi’s, kickstarters etc.

Also, can confirm that if anyone ever drew/wrote fanart/fanfic of my OCs, it would send me right over the moon.
