This bill is extremely dangerous because white supremacists love using the law as a cudgel to beat down anyone who tries to oppose them, even their victims. Just look at what they did to DeAndre Harris. If this bill passes, you’d better believe neo nazi scumbags are going to call basically everyone who stands up to them Antifa and send them to jail.
The only way we can stop this is by calling our reps to tell them that if they support this nazi piece of garbage bill, they’re going to feel the pain in the November elections. The closet white supremacists in the GOP might not care about who’s going to get hurt by this bill, but they do care about optics and being able to keep their cushy desk jobs, and being linked to nazis is bad press outside of their frothing alt-right base.
